Hh Sri Vidhusekhara Bharathi swamigal of Tunga Sringeri Mutt is visiting Kanchipuram to celebrate the most auspicious occasion of the Aradhana of all our adi guru Sri Adi Sankaracharya Swamiji.

The date is, as we declared few days back, "Tula Krishna Paksha Ekadashi" (Aippashi Puram) falling on October 27, 2024.

Hh Sri Vidhusekhara Bharathi will arrive in Kanchipuram on October 26 and after staying at Kanchipuram on October 27 and celebrating the Adi Sankara aradhana at Kanchipuram, will leave kanchipuram on October 28.

By their peetadhipathi's arrival and stay at kanchipuram on this auspicious aradhana date of October 27, the Tunga Sringeri has shown their full acknowledgement that it is indeed the day when Sri Adi Sankaracharya attained Moksham by his merging with Goddess Kamakshi.

The Tunga Sringeri has decided to seek blessings from both their Adi Guru Sankaracharya and Goddess Kamakshi by visiting the Kamakshi temple on October 27, 2024 at 5pm.

It is indeed sad that our own acharya has decided to travel out of Kanchipuram on October 27, avoiding being  present during the Adi Sankaracharya aradhana date and also avoiding any controversial meeting with the Tunga Sringeri Acharya, during his visit to Kamakshi temple.

 The Kanchi Mutt should be reminded that they are the hereditary trustees of the Kamakshi temple and thus should also acknowledge that Aippashi Puram to be the Aradhana date of Sri Adi Sankaracharya and be present at the Kamakshi temple at that time.

In the absence of the Kanchi Shankaracharya during his visit to Kanchipuram, the Tunga Sringeri acharya is also planning a visit to the Kanchi Kamakoti Peetam to have the darshan of the most secretive location of the samadhi (adhistanam) of Sri Adi Sankaracharya and also that of Sri Sureshwaracharya,.

A very serious acknowledgement of our prediction of the samadhi date of Sri Adi Sankaracharya, which We - Kalavai Sri Mahadevendra Saraswati Sankaracharya Trust, are going to celebrate in Mumbai at Sankara Mattham, Matunga alongside 16 Dandi Sanyassis from Haridwar.
